Kuala Lumpur Orchid Garden

Last week I went to the Kuala Lumpur Orchid Garden with my husband and son. There are many varieties of orchids here. Some of the orchids are for sale and the price is reasonable too. I planned to buy some for my garden. Lets browse through...

I love taking this picture...the repetition of the roots looks awesome...

The water lily pond. The whole pond is covered with this plants and the flowers is just breathtaking.....enjoy.....

In the end I didn't buy anything....couldn't find the one that I want, maybe next time. Anyway we enjoyed looking at all the beautiful orchids.

Before I say goodbye....I want to share this with you...my old Indonesian mirror which I've painted white (it was natural wood color originally) and hanged it on my veranda wall. What do you think?

Thank you so much for visiting my blog...and all the encouraging comments really make my day. I'm trying my best to make it interesting....there's so much to learn...

See ya...take care....and have a nice weekend.

lets go jogging.....

I guess I'm a morning person. I love getting up in the morning to watch the sun rise. This is the best time of the day...everything is quite and peaceful. I felt its a blessing being able to get up and enjoy live another day...thank you God. I'm quite lucky because I can see the rising sun from my bedroom balcony. This pics was taken a few weeks ago...I hope you'll like it.

I've been lazy lately....time to get up and do some jogging or brisk walking...lets go...

Can see the sky changing its color...beautiful...

Here we are...this is the park next to my house. This park was developed by the Housing Estate Developer for the residents. Its quite big...about 30 hectares. I like this stretch, very near to my house...don't have to walk far...he..he..

Its brighter now...still not many joggers around...I can enjoy myself...

This is the harder part...to walk back. This place is hilly and my house is on the higher side...
When you're heavy and have to walk against gravity...no joke...to be positive...it burnt more calories!

Goshhh...what a bonus to bump into this lovely creature. He's quite a regular here. His name is Blue 'cause he have a very blue eyes just like Mel Gibson! (that's what his owner told me...)

'Pious As A Cat'...that's what my mum used to say...: "be careful..they are not that innocent......"

Saw this tree with beautiful orange flowers....

Have you seen anything like this...? Sorry I don't know the name...I'll find out...

And this wild flowers...

At last...here we are...my portulaca flowers...

Welcome to my humble house...would you care for a cup of hot ginger honey tea....?

Thank you so much for the company...hope to see you soon. Bye for now...

my humble garden

Hi, welcome to my humble garden.

In Malaysia where the weather is sunny and warm and with lots of rain you can see flowers blooming everyday.

The challenging part is to keep the unwanted quest away. Just name it, snails, slugs, caterpillars, m
ealy bugs....ugh..

With the children's pets roaming free in the garden, we have to use organic stuff all the way.

We have three seramas chicken: Omar, Cocoa Pop and Kikie and two
cats: Garfield and Blue.

In fact the chicken is an organic pest controller! They just gulp anything that moves among the plants...

This is our new chicken house. Not only the chicken but everybody seems to be so excited about it...its beautiful...

(.....this is Omar, he's the boss among the chooks..)

Well...thats all for now. I'm a newbie here...blogging is something new to me.
I am so inspired to try it out after looking at all your lovely, gorgeous blogs.

Looking forward to know you and your comments.....thanks.

Love,
Zeq
